you might wonder, what kind of mathematics exists here? i've recently discovered reverse mathematics!
at the supermarket today, i was looking at smoked salmon. 100g of salmon for $3.90. when i looked across the shelf, there was this other packet of salmon, same brand but larger packaging, 200g, with 'best buy!' plastered across the packaging. the price was $7.98. well apparently people pay more for bigger packagings here. price discrimination at its best. wonder who will actually buy the 200g pack of salmon..
